Now that cold weather is back and I'm stuck wearing long pants, here's some stuff that fell outa my pockets of my carpenter jeans.
Microtech UMS
Kershaw Double Cross
Vic. alox companion
Gerber LED
Old Zippo
Money clip w/$2 ( I never carry a whole wallet)

Main EDC right now still the carbon Opie #06.
I did the Wj 'pocket wore' treatment to it which is basically
a little sanding to round off the square edges, delete the handle logo,
then accent the grain with a little linseed oil.
Cheap entertainment and keeps me from playing in traffic.
Been doing a few home repairs so on those days the SAK cadet
w/screwdrivers etc usually replaces the Opie.
63032 cv doesn't like running in third place but that's just the way it is presently.
Q9105 Jack in fourth is even a crueler fate.
But there are some chores I reserve for the Queenie and at those
times I am sure glad to have it on standby.

Well you know what they say, Gino.

I got anudder green SAK, not in rotation yet.
It's the smaller size, has some scissors and a hide-a-way ink pen.
Not an alox, no cap lifter but other than those minor differences
the signature & cadet are virtually identical.


Haven't seen any green cadets of late, not sure whether they been discontinued or what.
Matter of fact, the other colors have disappeared too.
Still see some silvers around.
Maybe they in the middle of model year change in Swizzerland.

Stan,we have the same taste in tacticals. ..what does the ATTF stand for?...is the A for auto or assisted?

i have been carring this for the past year...http://www.piranhaknife.com/, one on the left.
only complaints, it is too strong..it WILL jump out of your hand if the least amount of anything slippery is on the knife or hand...and then will impact the hardest portion of the ground point first.

second complaint...factory should have used a bit of locktight on the threads...the tiny screws are a bear to find after one takes a walk.

takes an edge, stays sharp.

i don't know - this knife is only a linerlock without automatism or assisted opening -
and i think that Bob Terzuola has never made automatic nor assisted knife - this one is 20 years old
