Evidently Chris Kirk is the hoppin' mad hillbilly. :-x Though it doesn't say what he's so mad about. I'm glad he gave us a 4 month heads up, I'll pencil that in my datebook. ::dang::

Chris Kirk used to sell knives for SMKW on their Knives Live Show back before Steve and Jay and Tony became the on air personalities.
Chris is the kind of guy who could sell ice to Eskimos and he is entertaining to watch as he makes his pitch.
He also did some sort of radio show and I think that is where the "Hoppin Mad Hillbilly" got its start.

Thanks for the heads up Tracy!

I can't speak for the guys here, but myself, I don't buy many of the 50 for $50.00 knives.

I liked the SMKW knives show; when Chris was the host. He did show some; older collectible Case knives from time to time. Seems like they were USA and 1970s dotted.

I met Chris back about 2002 in Piegon Forge Tn. and talked at length with him
He was the one responsible for the inception of the SMKW show
I think there was a falling out and he got ran off, and SMKW took over his gig
I bought a Case Stag Blue Scroll set for 525.00 from him, Kodiaks,
Buck USA, vintage Schrade Waldens, 30 of them, Marble's etc.
He ain't afraid to stand up and tell ya he believes in the Good Lord,
I can tell ya that, a trait I respect in folk's these days with all the
evil & other religons tryin to tear down the USA when thats what this
whole damm country was founded on !!!
It ought to be interesting & entertaining to see him back
