"I'd probably getting one of those leather slips to carry it in." What are they? Like a sleeve to protect a good knife in your pocket?

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
I saw these things referred to in another post. A simple thin leather sheath with no belt loop or clip, open at the top. Seems like a great solution for a knife you want to carry but protect. I searched and couldn't find the post. I got interested so I went and looked over at SMKW and the closest things they had were Sack Ups.vikingdog wrote:"I'd probably getting one of those leather slips to carry it in." What are they? Hopefully someone will chime in who has a line on these things. They'd be pretty easy to make as the leather is thin. I would think any upholstery shop could whip up a few out of scrap.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
I'd like to know where to get some of the soft cases myself. Most of my pocket knives I don't mind carrying in my pocket. But it would be nice to have a few of those cases for the few I'd like to keep clean.... TD

Thanks, TJ. I found a nice one at Knives Ship Free as well.

This one is a clever design--holes in the bottom to let crud out.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Well I made a change in my EDC,s as of today.
I am going to a Case xx bone jack I picked up at the flea market today and A SAK Vic cadet along with my Hen & Rooster Blk bone whittler
The case has some pocket scratches on the bolsters but otherwise perfect condition (someone carried it but never used it).
The Vic Cadet is better suited for me and I will use the finger nail file more that the punch that is on the other I was carryin.
The H&R is my trusty companion I just cant put away.

Here are a few pics of the Rough Rider Lockback Mini

I've used it to cut up a summer sausage among other things.

TJ, I just picked one of those up at the flea market on Sunday. I really like it. Yours has nicer scales.

It sure didn't start out that way. Some sort of plastice scales all cracked and broken. Orvet rehandled it for me. It's one of my favorite knives.
