Schrade+ Steel?
Does anyone know the closest stainless steel relative to Schrade+ steel? [It seems to me I may read somewhere that it is 440A.] Thanks.

440A was used until the late '90s...maybe 2000 on some patterns...when 420HC, which came coiled, and could be fine blanked at a lower cost, began being introduced into the Schrade+ lineup. But, there were lots of parts/blades that have been put together that could make that statement seem questionable.
