Alex Coppel 4 blade pocket knife question

I found an Alex Coppel 4 blade pocket knife with Mother of pearl sides. It measures 1 13/16" long closed. 2 of the 4 blades have broken tips. 1 of the good blades has a file on part of it and is sharp at the end, obviously for fingernail work. Here's the questions, can anyone tell me more about this knife and does it have any value? it seems to be a well made little knife.

First of all WELCOME to the forum!Lots of good information here.

I checked Levine's Guide(3rd edition)and it lists Alexander Coppel as being a German manufacturer from 1821 to the present day and rates it a Low as regards to value.Judging from the pictures you supplied the pearl scales are cracked as well as the broken blades which somewhat detract from the value.I have a lot of knives that are in similar condition but keep them around anyway as they are usually from obscure makers.

It is just such a small 4 blade that I was curious.
We've been helping with an estate and are looking for anything of value to help with an elderly woman's care.
This knife and several others belong to her husband and father, all are used or broken, some we recognize the makers others we don't.
