I took an old Camco TL-29 for parts

Did a clean on the parts. Then I reprofiled the blade to accept the liner lock. Then did a dry fit to make sure everything fit together okay.

I picked out some nice wood for the scales, then did a rough shape.

Fitting the scales and glue up.

All put together waiting for final finishing.

Here's the finished product

The knife blade was used and rough. I did a little cleanup on it but did not want to regrind it. The scales were from a mixed lot I got from "The Burly Guy". They were not marked. Does anyone know what wood they are?
My skills and patience are just not there yet to produce the knid of work I see from alot of you. I suppose that will come with time.
Thanks for looking.
Glenn
