Case XX Pattern # G 232

Hi, new to the forum and I have a question...I am in possession of a Case XX knife with the pattern number G 232...I found it in the knife book but no explanation of what it is, handle material etc...could anyone give me some info on what year this one came about and what value it may have if any? thanks!

You may get more responses if you ask this in the question and answer forum,I think it would get more views.Also, any chance it is 6232 and not G232? Your picture files may be to large, or they may be a file type other than .jpeg,etc..also to the site.

looks simiar but it isdefinitely G 232. I will post the question in the Q & A forum as well..I am trying to figure out the best program for uploading..thanks for all your help guys!

Does it look like the same pattern as in the picture,only with a different handle material? I dont know what the G would designate for handle material, I think GS is goldstone celluloid.Does the handle look gold and sparkly?

I think G refers to this :

G = Green Metal Flake, Red metal Flake, or Pick Bone

As stated before ... a picture is worth a 1000 words .. also to AAPK

I have tried everything to upload a picture, no luck...my pics are stored in windows and i can loadthem intoanemail,but this wite won't let me, keeps saying its invalid, i will keep trying. I tried to send an email to lamar but it came back failure too...lol gues the machine God's dont want me to show off this knife..lol I will keep trying

Ricky,

I was able to view your pictures .... what you have is a 6232 .... 6 denotes bone handles, 2 denotes 2 blades and 32 is the model #

If you can get a close up pic of the Case tang stamp I can date the knife for you. In the condition shown it would be a great every day carry ( EDC )
but I doubt it has much monetary value in this condition ..... always a good user though.
