That's one sweet knife... ::tu:: ...GEC's stag is hard to beat. It's nice that they leave the shield off on the genuine stags...to me

I like the natural materials better than the man-made, but there are some awsome looking acrylics out there, and you can make them to look like what ever you want - I like the tortoise shell look, gives it that old-timey flavor.

Oh-oh, Big Monk. You got the fever! Only thing that helps is to buy another one. ::dang:: You have extreemely gud taste my fren'. Nice choices. I usually try to stick with natural handle materials, still have nightmares about celluloid gas off. (No problem with the acrylics.) I really like the look of many of their acrylics and you picked my favorite! ::tu::

 Big M, those are beautiful, and the pics will never do them justice, it takes a physical encounter to see their real beauty and craftsmanship.

Don, I thought about taking the plunge on one of these knives for a long time, but after your post I knew I'd be picking one up soon.
My brother knew I liked them and took the plunge for me, ::ds:: so it's non stop from here. 8)

Well guys, it came today. No. 07 is another beauty made by our favorite knife company! I like it a lot; it opens smoothly and locks up tight. Very nicely matched stag scales; GEC is definitely putting out the best Sambar stag material of all the US companies and possibly the world! ::ds::
