Knife Info Please--

Hey Guys-in a recent estate sale, I bought several old folders. One of them is marked--Harrison Brothers & Howson on the main blade, on the reverse of that is-Made in Sheffield England. On the smaller blade, one side is marked with a symbol of a crown and underneath that the word Alpha. On the reverse of that is marked--Cutlers To His Majesty. Any info on this would certainly be appreciated. I will try to get a pic posted .

Goins lists Harrison Bros and Howson as operating from 1847 to 1963. The cutlers to his majesty stamp would indicate the knife was made 1952 or earlier.

Sounds interesting. Most likely made 1901 to 1952. Looking forward to the pics s-k
