JBF Champlin

Post by 4444 »

Can anybody help me put a value on a celluloid razor stamped JBF Champlin and Son in excellent condition in original box?

galvanic1882 is the expert on JBF, but I know just enough to be dangerous. A photo would help a lot, contact Mike L. and he will give you the straight answer. NICE old name for sure.

Thanks for response. I can't post picture at this time. I know it was made between 1882 and 1890. It would like like the celluloid razors in Ritchie and Stewart book only it has the rare JBF stamp. I have an extensive Cattaraugus pocket knife collection and I will keep this in my collection...just don't know much about razors. I am living in NE Pa. wonder where you hail from?
