CATT swing guards

Post by cattaraugus57 »

Hey Guys, I have a Catt king of the woods that is missing the swing guards.
Was wondering if someone on here has ever made or could make me a set?
I could probably do it myself but I'm w/o a shop to work in right now.
Does anyone know what they were made from?
Stainless?

thanks!

I don't know what they're made of, but if you could get me one I could make the other one or if I had a picture and exact measurements I'm sure I could make a set. Better yet, if someone were willing to loan us one.....What I'm saying is my shop is up and running and I'm willing to help. Let me know if I can.

originals were nickel silver maybe 1/16"-3/32" in thickness, 1 1/2" long and about 3/16" at the widest point. It's been a while since I've held one so I cannot be 100% sure. With one as a template it should be a fairly easy fix.

A few pics from different angles and exact measurements sure would help, but if somebody could send me one, I could use it as a template and crank out as many as we need (by we, I mean you guys...I don't need one as I don't own one of those knives). I looks like a fun little project. The more measurments and picture angles, the better. I've got the material and the milling machine. Anybody got one they'd care to loan? If you send it knife and all, that's how you'll get it back.

My motive? The knife community has been good to me. Just trying to give back. Guys, your move.
