I wouldn't recommend this one for everyday carry.

Cool, but I wouldn't want one.
If I carried this, I wouldn't have an excuse to carry 4 or 5 knives.

there is an exibition knife in great brittain that has nearly 2000 implements. i understand they add a blade a year. no sheath, just a lil' red wagon.

Hi Johnnie you are spot on. Joseph Rodgers produced the year knife in 1821 and unveiled it at the opening of their grand new show room in 1822. It had 1822 blades/attachments one for every year at the time. It took 9 months to construct. The cutler is reported to be Jonathan Crookes. It was made in the shape of the maltese cross which, along with the star, forms the Rodgers trademark. The scales were mother of pearl. Every five years blades were added to bring it up to date. I believe it is now at 2000. Maybe they decided to stop there. Here is a link to a photo.

Also scroll down to the Norfolk knife which has fantastic carved scales and acid etching on many of the blades. This one has only 75 blades for comparison.
