Dang it!
I can't keep myself from going back and drooling over that beautiful collection of folding hunters.
That is what I'm talkin' about in vintage collecting.
To hell with modern knives!
Thanks for sharing, Rig.

Rig;
We talked via PM about your search for a Robeson. I wish I had a good one for you.
There was a decent Continental on Ebay a couple of days ago.
Again, great knives!

He's dwindled my jack knives down here lately, but I've sure wrecked his whittler collection!

Re: Lets see some VINTAGE folding hunters.
Nice ones Charlie!
I've had a opportunity to buy a few Robesons before and one of the lockbacks , but was lacking the funds! lol
As you know, its not easy finding the old hunters, especially in good shape.
I've been selective and lucky in finding the ones I have, but there's still room for the bone handled regular hunter that you have there!
Thats a Nice Yukon Catt. you have there JKB.

Re: Lets see some VINTAGE folding hunters.
Here's a few from my collection.Sorry for the lousy pics;I've got to learn how to use this camera.
First is a Colonial with a cleaver secondary blade.Very unusual.
Next is a Humason&Beckley with ebony scales.
Third is an old Imperial.
Next is another Imperial with a fish scaler secondary blade.
Fifth is a Monarch(Japanese but very good quality)from the 60's.
Next is a Northfield Un-X-Led with beautiful bone scales.
Seventh is a Precise from the 70's.
Next is a custom folder by Track from the 70's.Got that one for $5!
Ninth is a Westaco(I assume it is by Western).
Last is one by Wilbert Cutlery in Chicago.
