Found this so far:
Bokers made in Germany are stamped "Boker Solingen" plus steel type in small letters somewhere on the blade
Boker arbolitos (made in Argentina) have various markings, generally "Boker Argentina" or "Boker Arbolito".
Boker magnums are built in various countries, generally Taiwan, sometimes Germany their "upper" line.
In 1986 the German company founded its own company in Denver Colorado, the U.S.A.

As far as a dating system,we really don't have one.Given the history of the company, and the number of different companies that have owned the Boker name in the past,it is hard to narrow it down, much less get an exact date.
Wish I could help on that for you.
Not what I wanted to read!

When did the "Boker USA" stamp stop?

From a Boker Rep:
That is a tricky one, as we still have some knives stamped
with the Boker USA tang stamp.
But, the older ones that just said Boker USA without saying Solingen were stopped between 1985 and 1986, when the German Boker re-established
their presence in the USA, and the current Boker USA, Inc was founded.
Before that, the knives were made and distributed by Cooper Tools Group,
and also by Wiss Tools.
Hope that helps.
Thanks,TJT

Ive started a consolidated Boker Info page at mt site which holds some info on the Boker Knife. Its not my main hobby, but the Boker USA knife is a favorite outside of the Case knives which are easier to date and more sought after.

Click Link below and see the "Related Links" in left Menu. Info to add is Welcomed!

Hi Hawke,

Looks like you have been working a lot on your knife site. I like the new home page. Good job on the Boker info too. Very helpful. Also, nice investigative work on the Boker U.S.A. issue. ::tu::

Boy, I'm full of compliments aren't I :D
