Wait or go for it ??

Post by Tennessee »

I realize I could probably get this knife cheaper if I waited on an auction. But I have been droolin over this one and a few other red-bone dot Case's for a few weeks now. Is this a decent price for this knife ? The seller lives right down the road from me, maybe he will give me a break.Lol.

yeah, thats pretty high I agree! If he comes down a good bit I say go for it. But then again I have overpaid for something because I had to have it myself. do what your head tells you. How bad do you want it?

Paying $135 for that knife may not be the most rational decision to make, but who says knifeaholism is a rational condition..?

The ebay seller in the original poster's link is a different Mike Latham than the one who owns Collecterknives.net. Yeah I know, what are the odds?! :o

It is hard when you want something real bad but I usually think to myself is this the last one I am ever going to see. Case knives are great and everyone loves them. That is part of the reason that I do not go crazy over them. I try to get something different but I usually just end up getting whatever I run into.

I havent bought one yet, Although I have seen some incredible knives in the stores here at more reasonable prices. I may bid on a few tonight, If I dont win them I may say screw it and just buy one out right.
