High Mileage

Post by petesknives »

Of all the knives I own, this one is my favorite. Dunno why but is is. When I look at my knives I always wonder who bought it, how much they paid for it. Was it for work or recreation? Also wonder the long path the knife took to somehow end up in my hand. From the tang stamp this Robeson is 1911-1921 vintage, this makes it the oldest in my collection. She has certainly seen the whetstone many times over the years. An oldie but a goodie in my mind. The numbers on the other side of the tang stamp are 622363. Ken

Sweet! ::drool::

I love the old worn bone & the carbon steel.

Here is my favorite Robeson (also my only one), currently one of my EDCs.

Does anyone know the date on this Daddy?

That's nice, Ken. The old knives are my favorite.
They have seen a lot. The Wars, the Great Depression, happy times, sad times. If only they could talk....
