Here's a First Special Forces pocket knife that belonged to my wife's uncle. He was killed by a booby trapped pistol near the end of 44 in France. We're still trying to figure out what outfit he was with.
In case any body is wondering, the phillips screwdriver was used to tighten their ski bindings.

It's possible, we are going to try to get a copy of his service record. No one in the family is left that knows for sure. I've not found his name in any of the records on the web.greyelm wrote:Owd Wullie wrote:Thanks D.

Could your wife's uncle have been with the 10th Mountain Division? These Ulster knives are often called 10th Mountain Div knives. They are not as common as other WW2 pocket knives.
