Remington jack knife

Post by Jak »

Hello Folks ,
New to site. It looks like a great web site.
I recently inherited a box of kinfes . Some old, some new, some in good shape, some not. I can identify and know or found information on all but one .It is a Reminton Jack Knife. R1240 is stamped on blade.
Any help would be appreciated

Hello Jak,

Here is one that was for sale on ebay that may give you an idea about your knife's value...

The reserve wasn't met, so i guess one might speculate that it may be worth a little more than what is shown as the last bid.

Only usefull if yours is not a reproduction of the original obviously.

Naturally you would add more to the value of yours if it's in better shape; and subtract some if it's in worse shape.
