Wanted: Schrade 61OT and Camillus 69 stockman knives

61OT: As long as the blades are there, the condition doesn't matter much at this point--I just need to see how well the pattern fits my hands.

Camillus 69: I'm looking for one in reasonably good or better condition as I want it for an EDC. Bone scales would be preferred.

There doesn't seem to be very many Schrade Old Timer 61OT pattern knives showing up for sale. They fit the hand well, coffeecup, if that helps you any. The one I have has everything about it in mint shape except the blades. The blades are unsharpened, un-used, and still have the factory edge but they have some patina on the blade that's becoming a little dark as carbon steel does. Age must have caused it because it hasn't been carried or used. I think you will like one when you get it.

I figured a 61OT would be easier to find than an 861, shows what I know.

With some patterns--like the stockman--the way it fits my hand is important. I've got some nerve damage in my right hand and it seems the sheepsfoot or clip blade rub in just the right spot to irritate that. I've got a well-worn Camillus 69 that doesn't cause that problem, and wanted a Schrade slim stockman to compare.

I just came across a Camillus 69 bone handle, liners appear to have file work, blades nearly full and in good condition. Also has nice acorn shield and fancy bolsters.
