CLOSED - Tuna Valley Cutlery Co. Knife ...again!

Post by Bryan »

Hi Everyone!

For those who might have missed the action on the first auction of this knife...
http://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/kni ... 40&t=17026

Perry (knifekid) Miller graciously donated a fantastic new knife to auction off here for Johnnie Fain. Gary (gmusic) Music won, forwarded payment to Annette Fain and redonated the knife back to be auctioned of for the benefit of AAPK. Meanwhile, Perry sent Gary a second knife for the kind gesture & David (PA Knives) Anthony wrote a great article about 'em that was published in Knife World last issue (I've not had a chance to read it yet , but I hear it's great). What a great group of knifers!!! 8) So many gracious acts of kindness. Did I mis anything :D

Ok. So... Here you have another chance to buy a real gem...

The knife is an absolute stunner that sports a very cool old brand name. Perry had these made by Great Eastern Cutlery. The project was started in 2007 and it was just recently introduced. The knives are stamped 2007. The Model is the scout and it has Tuna Valley Cutlery Co. (TVCC)’s pattern number stamped on all of them, the number is 5201 (5=Stag, 2=blades, 01 is the pattern). The specs are as follows:
Total of 150 made and all are serial numbered on the front bolster. This one is number 56.
Stag handles - This one has outstanding stag!
Crest Shield
440C Stainless Steel brushed blades with no etching
Rear bolster
Brass pins and liners

Closed length is 3 3/4"
Comes with a COA that matches the serial number and is signed by Perry.

Auction will end next Sunday evening (05-23-10) and the winner will be contacted by me on the following Monday via PM for payment instructions & shipping info. I'll ship as soon as payment is received by the winner.

See pictures below... Thanks a ton to Perry & Gary!!!

I see these knives doing nothing but going UP $$$$$ in value. The name is rare, the history to CASE is super and the knives themselves are outstanding

Just my 2cents ::tu::
