what is corolon? is it like celluloid? i read another post on here about somebodies celluloid knife exploding, so i dont know if i want any celluloid handled knives or similar material that are gonna go kablewie. i dont have the money to throw away on knives like that.

Corolon is a high performance polymer that is resistant to almost anything under a wide range of conditions. There is no relationship to celluloid at all. Corolon is a tough durable material. It makes a good knife handle that is resistant to chemicals and solvents. Something that would just destroy cellulose. ::tu::
