Pins to Loose?

Hey guys, here is a post I had in the Knife Q&A. Another member told me to try my luck in this section so here's a what I put there
"Well guys, I have to admit I haven't been on here in a long time. I had a project going, but I got so frustrated with it I gave it up for awhile. I took a crack at trying to put back together my grandfather's knife since I had it apart to clean the blades and insides. I tried months ago to put it back, but I cracked two sets of scales and was running out of pin stock. Just recently I had enough pin stock to give it one more go so I figured I'd give another go at it. I did split the one scale but I figured as long as I had to together I could epoxy and fix it. Everything looked ok, that is until I tried to open it. One blade of the knife was sitting lower then it once did and there is basically no snap in it at all. Any help on this would be appreciated. Also the knife is a Shrade Walden 204s I believe. I had a thread about it from a while ago if you wanna check that out as well. Thanks in advance, Matt." Just to update for anyone that may come by. I noticed that there is a gap in between the bolsters and the liner in two spots and the knife blade when opened, doesn't even stay locked open. It's loose and wiggles around. Then screwdriver blade however, Is very snug. Also as I look down what I would call the spine of the knife where the springs and linders are, I noticed they are all shifted to the right. This caused the scales to split on one side. Any help is appreciated because I really want to get this knife in working order since it was my grandfather's. One more thing, I can't really post pictures because my camera isn't the greatest and it doesn't focus well for detail shots.

Do you have a scanner? If so scan some pics of the knife & post them.

Without pics it is hard to say what is wrong.
I am having trouble visualizing the problem.

I have some photos uploaded on here. I hope they help since they are pretty much the best I can achieve.
Here You can see the shifting of all the pieces to the right.

This shows how low the screwdriver blade sits.

Don't know if this helps at all or not but it doesn't hurt either.

your pins are too small in diameter and when you peened them they bent causing misalignment. The pins must be snug in the holes before you start, that way the will have no room to warp while peening them.

Thanks so much for the reply! I appreciate this. Maybe this time around I'll have better luck. Thanks again. I'm new to all this so I have no idea what happens haha
