A rather nice old skinning knife

Post by Mossdancer »

Hi:
The Document is a cut from an 1834-1884 Russell Catalogue.
Looks like the one on the left, it is not though notice the difference in Diamond size. The blade is currently 5 1/4 inches. Anyone have a later catalogue.

Nice ones Moss!
We had one of a similar pattern we used down home on the ranch for skinning when we butchered beef.
IIRC it was a Green River too.
Great carbon steel and very effective patterns.
