Do you have any Spyderco's?
Took at pic today of the knife I mentioned from the less expensive Byrd line, the Cara Cara with black G-10 handle. I have not used it yet, but it seems to be well made and the sharpness of the factory edge is above average.

Froggy,
I have 3 or 4 of the Spyderco Byrd knives.
Every year at the OKCA show Spyderco gives all the table holders one of their Byrd knives.
While they are mostly light weight frames, I would have to say that their steel is better than other Chinese knives.
This one holds an edge fairly well, it is my bathrobe knife. Never know when I wake up, I may have to open something. :mrgreen:
