Imperial Hecho EN Mexico Carved Multicolored ???

Post by antiqueartifacts »

Hello I have Recieved my fathers watch collection around 300 knives.
I am going thru them and needed some help. I found a beautiful and can not find any info on it. i do not know if it is custom or just made by a hobist. It says on the blade Imperial Hecho EN Mexico It has a dark rose colored carvings of an animal and what looks like a worrior with a helmet on. If anyone has any info it would be great. I am still going thru all the knives so i am sure i will be frequent here...
I do have pictures if someone wants to see what it looks like..
thanks Marc

I have heard of some knives made in Mexico for Imperial. I don't know a lot of details about it, but I think Codger does know a bit more than I do.

Welcome Marc! I have several of the Imperial kives which were made in Mexico. "Hecho" means "Made". I am still researching them, so I cannot give you a timeframe in which they were made.

Yours looks to be die-stamped metal, not carved? Do you have more pictures or scans?
