Hi,
When removing a blade from a LB7 what should I be using for a slackener to put it back together?
Should I use a feeler gauge with a slot cut in it?
Thanks,
Snorkel

I use a .010" or .012" slackner on that size knife usually.

I ended up using a .012 feeler gage with a slot cut it it and it worked perfectly.

That is all I did to make my slackners. Cut up several feeler gages.snorkel wrote:orvet wrote:I use a .010" or .012" slackner on that size knife usually.

I prefer to use a .005 & a .006 when I am doing a multi-bladed knife.
It seems to me to center the blades better and has less tendency to bind.
