I'll be there!!!! ::ds::

Just made my motel reservations this week. I'm planning to be there when the doors open to the public. Rumor has it that several of the Chat Room regulars are planning to be in attendance representing this fine website community. Big Don Don has even volunteered to chaperone us! :wink:

How about an aapk dinner, either friday or saturday night?
There is a Jocks and Jills in the Galleria, and some other
restaraunts across the street at Cumberland Mall, a great
italian place less than a mile, Scalini's. also Copelands, Hooters,
Carrabba's, anything you guys want, I've eaten at all of them.

Jody,

If there is food involved, count me in. ::drool::

I think that is a great idea. I hope that all the AAPK guys who are there can get together for at least a short while and a dinner would be a fine way of doing that IMO.

My guess is that Saturday night might work best for the most people since some won't be there on Friday, but I'm open for either one.

just to clarify this is for east show, june 4-6 2010.
I think the show is over at 6, can't find anything definitive.
I grew up 12 miles from there, so I will let you guys
decide what/where to eat at, I like all that I've
mentioned and have eaten often at most. The recommendation
I had closed a few months ago after years of wonderful food...
7 or 7:30 should be a good meeting time???

Guys;
I'm thinking about coming over on Saturday for the day.
How are we going to know each other? Someone going to shout out "AAPK!!" or will there be a table set up by one of you and can coordinate?

Those of you who will be attending the Blade Show and who want to link up with other AAPK members while there might want to share their cell phone numbers. If you don't want to put it up for all the world to see (and I sure advise that you don't ) you may wish to PM me with your number and I will keep a list of them and share them only with the other AAPK members who are going to be there. That way we will be able to contact each other while we are there.

sounds great, Phil. If you guys have decided on
anywhere to eat I can get an approximate headcount
and have a reservation, possibly a seperate dining room
depending on the restaurant

Wullie, that is a classic!.. I use BR 549 when someone asks me my number, and they never know what the heck I'm talking about. (Of course most folks look at me kinda peculiar anyway)

Jody,

Some of us have talked about eating at Ted's Montana Grill which is in the mall adjacent to the Galleria. Ozzie Marie has been working on getting some info together and I think a thread will be forthcoming in a day or two. There are some other developments that the AAPK members who will be attending need to know about................

Stand by for further developments. :mrgreen:

Anyone carrying a couple of knives to trade; just in case the money runs low. At these shows I usually think I have found what I want; :) and low and behold there is one you I got to have. :mrgreen: Can't carry a credit card; ::shrug:: no control it's only plastic until the bill comes. ::doh::
