Hornady & Scout Knife

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Hornady & Scout Knife

Here's the only Camillus knives I have to date,one is a Boy Scouts of America knife and the other is one I picked up this week a Hornady 17 HMR Bullet knife. It's a shame that this great American knife maker is no longer with us. :(

I have a few Camillus Bullet knives and I really like them.

I found this ad for the Hornady knife in an old magazine. They're proud (and rightfully so) of the Camillus lineage of this knife.
