Jet pilot knife parts or parts knife, sheath

I am looking for the buttcap/pommel/whatever-ya-call it: the chunk of metal opposite the pointy end of the knife, for a jet pilot knife. I'm hoping someone has customized one and has one in their parts box.

If that doesn't work I'm looking for a parts knife or project knife that someone hasn't gotten around to doing yet.

And finally--haha--does anyone have a spare sheath for the 6" version of the JPK?

Realistically, I don't expect to find one I can afford anytime soon, but would feel really dumb if someone had one and I hadn't asked.

Are you referring to the Camillus airforce survival knife with the big nut shaped pommel? if you are send me a PM.

I meant to mention and forgot. The Coasties out here refer to the JPK as a bolt knife. I suppose due to the Hex head pommel.

The top one is a Camillus 1980 the bottom one is a Japanese copy with sheath. They both have blades that are in good shape but are definitely in the user/rework catagory based upon overall condition.

Did you ever find the pilot's knife you were looking for?
I have a Camillus from 1970 that might work. No sheath.

After examining photos of several original 6" pilots' knives, it looks like the only way I could really restore this would involve lengthening the tang and somehow peening the new buttcap in place. Peening it isn't the problem, but the originals were peened in a rather distinctive manner that would be very difficult to duplicate with the tools available to me.

I think instead I will rehandle the blade, probably in some Scagel-inspired manner. Not the ideal, but it would make a usable knife out of a rusty blade.
