wards not sears
some towns did'nt have a sears to shop. mongomery wards was available to some. here's an old wards jack. still solid and lots of life left. winchester and utica made most of their knives. this is probably made by utica. have you guys got any store brand knives?

good knives
We have several Wards knives and they are nice well built knives. one nice thing about Wards is they have not hit the top end as far as price goes...yet, some real nice ones can still be found at a reasonable price, nice to have a few in any collection.

Re: wards not sears
John Primble Belknap made top line knives for both Sears and Montgomery Wards for many years. They were very good knives.

Welcome here, misterlee.
I'll play in this old thread.
I've got two Wards jack knives but I can find pictures of only one.
A solid dogleg. Sharpened but solid.
