Has anyone made a pin spinner for 1/8 pins from a set screw?
If so what size set screw do you use, and how do you go about making it?
Thanks,
Snorkel

Try entering pin spinner in the search function at the top of the home page. There are a couple of conversations about them or try this link.

Re: Pin spinner made from set screw?
I use 1/4" set screws, but you can use up a good file quick on hardened set screws.
I have ruined a brand new $7 Nicholson file making one spinner out of a set screw.
Recently I have been working with A-2 steel for making pin spinners.
After the show next month I should have more time to work on the heat threating of them and I hope to have some for sale.
