i would guess $40 to $70, depends how bad somebody wants it. New in the box with papers, i've seen for over $110. I hope this helps. maybe someone else will come along with better info.

315 Yachtsman was only made by Camillus
introduced in 1972
The earliest has BUCK/MADE IN /USA
with the model # on the pile side of the tang.
Latter the model # was placed on the front side of
the tang. 315 no longer made.

Everyone is on the money.
There were a few made with custom scales that show up once in a while.
After the metal bolstered era they went to the 'barehead' model that did not have bolsters. There were a couple of variations in the details of those. I claim 6 versions of this model knife. Will see if I can find a interesting photo.
Here's a question to see if anyone knows. Did the Coast Guard issue a Buck 315 to all recruits for there shake-down cruise on the old windjammer ?

I had someone else ask the value question also, so I went back to my saved and printed 300 series Ebay sale records ( since 01/10) and the dozen or so of that variation of 315 averaged $ 74.00. So just add 10% and say $85.00 for insurance value. Now before anyone goes listing their Buck 315 and starting out at 80, those were all in good to excellent condition and most had sheath or box. And because we are talking about them the price goes up 10.00 for a month.
Of course I would only want to pay 50 for any of them.....or less....
