#CLOSED Johnnie Fain Knife Auction-Schatt & Morgan E.T.

Post by orvet »

On March 19, 2009 AAPK lost one of our dearest members, Moderator Johnnie Fain.
It has been almost one year since his passing.

I am helping Johnnie’s widow, Annettee to sell some of Johnnie’s knife collection so that she can pay expenses associated with Johnnie’s passing.

AAPK members have been most generous in helping Annettee by bidding liberally in previous auctions. Any member of AAPK can bid on these knives.

This auction is for a SCHATT & MORGAN Elephant Toe Nail

MAKER: SCHATT & MORGAN
PATTERN: Elephant Toe Nail
BLADE: Large spear and small spey.
CLOSED LENGTH: 4-1/2 inches
HANDLES: Jigged bone
FRONT TANG STAMP: SCHATT & MORGAN/CUTLERY CO./TITUSVILLE, PA
REAR TANG STAMP: F&W
CONDITION: New in Box (but I am not sure if it is the correct box.
DAMAGE: None
AGE: Current
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: USA
BLADE WEAR: None
SHIELD AND BLADE ETCH: S X M shield. Etch is S&M File & Wire Tested
SNAP: Excellent
ADDITIONAL INFO: The box was sent to me without the knife. The label on the end of the box says: F&W 4 Series 3 with the number 043213. Perhaps one of out S&M collectors will be able to tell us if I have the right box matched to the knife.

This auction will end at 12 Noon, Pacific Daylight Time, Wednesday March 24th 2010 if there have been no bids within 1 hours of that time. If there have been bids, the auction will continue until such time as there are no bids for 1 hour.
At that time the high bidder will be declared the winner.
Payment is to be by money order. Upon receipt of payment the knife will be shipped.

The payment price will be the winning bid plus $8.75 for shipping via Priority Mail with insurance and tracking.
The knife will be well packaged to prevent damage.

Feel free to PM or email me with any questions.

Thank you and happy bidding,
Dale

NOTE: I will combine shipping for those who win more than one item.
