remington knife repair

Post by Umcknifeguy »

i have an old remington bartenders knife. It originally had pearl handles but someone has rehandled it in what appears to be buffalo horn. There is only one knife maker in my area. Ive talked to a few repairmen and no one seems to want to work with pearl. Any one out there who will rehandle this knife back to original with pearl give me a shout. Thanks and God bless, travis

Hey Travis,

I can and would, but it will have to wait since I'm having carpel tunnel surgery next Wednesday (St. Patrick's Day). I glue AND pin the pearl and have had pretty good sucess. Hope you aren't in a hurry. Please respond while I can still type. ::dang::
