king cutter connection
I've wore Hawke's page out reading and studying, An awesome undertaking to say the least. I've seen a couple of "King Cutter" marked bokers and wonder where and how they fit in. Can any of you guys shed some light?

Re: king cutter connection
Dale I'm working from memory on this one - which is a dangerous thing.
I THINK the original King Cutter was a straight razor design. It had a rounded end, that they called a "spanish point". The steel alloy was somewhat special also. (extra silver, or extra nickel)
Now I am seeing newer knives with that blade etching. Specifically the knives with the washboard bone handles. I'm not sure if Boker is just bringing back the retro blade etch 'cause it looks cool, of if these particular knives are using the old steel alloy.
This is mostly conjecture on my part though, cause I can't remember the source.
