Cold Steel Knife Question

Post by ibele-finley »

I've been seeing several of these Cold Steel knives show up for sale here & there, see pics. Although a lot of them have the tang stamps ground off, all do not. My question to you guys is: What do the letters OSS & UWK stand for? ::shrug::
Thanks in advance

8) I honestly don't know what Cold Steel's use of these initials stand for ::shrug:: but the most common universal meaning of them are;

UWK = Under Water Knife

OSS = The Office of Strategic Services (OSS) was a United States intelligence agency formed during World War II. It was the wartime intelligence agency, and it was the predecessor of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
