Ka-Bar small hunter

Post by keithw »

Hi,
I ran across a Ka-Bar hunting knife in a junk shop over the weekend. I know next to nothing about fixed blade knives. ::shrug:: So, I thought I would run it by you guys. It was small, about 8 inches in total length with a leather sheath. The handle was made of leather and something had eaten at it (I guess), but it wasn't eaten through anywhere. I didn't see a model number, but the owner wanted $30 for it. Is that enough info to make a guess about its value?

Thanks
Keith

Hardly, can you take a picture of it with a camera or cell phone?

That would help, also describe the condition of the blade. ::nod::

The next time I go by there I will try to take a pic with the cellphone.
The blade was in good shape.
Thanks for the reply.
