Unsharpened from the factory!

I have seen where coins from the mint with an error are highly collectable.
I was wondering if it holds true to pocket knives?
I have a Case 8327 SS and it left the factory unsharpened.
How often do you see this?
Not just one blade but all three left the factory unsharpened.

I don't collect Case, so I don't know what it is worth. But, I have a Schrade Old Timer, 34OT, that is perfectly finished but all three blades are unsharpened.

I guess that way the blades are truly "full."

Also, do you mean TOTALLY un-sharpened, like not sharp enough to cut your hand?

The master blade is marked with the rat tail Case and under that USA and looks like 3 dots under that. and yes the three blades are totally un-sharpened. In fact I just ran all three blades in a cutting motion over my arm and in the palm of my hand and nothing, no cuts or scrapes.

I would have to say it slipped through QC, my bet is that doesnt happen very often. As far as being collectable I dont know, I do know there are collectors that are only into factory mistakes. We may have some here, we'll see if one comes along.
