The Non-Fancy EDU Razors

Post by tjmurphy »

This is the only one I have and it is just a plain Jane every day use razor. But it IS very special in that it is the one my grand-dad used every day. The tang says "Louisville Pipe and Stove Co. Probably Belnap.

Hey TJ, good start. I like how you can see the strop marks on that old razor. Well, here's my hillbilly grooming kit. Two razors, one is a "red injun", and a pair of scissors that are from 1928-1930 (if boker used the same script logo on their scissors as their knives...)

Nice razors, especially with the family history. ::tu::

Here's a plain old I. Pearce horn handle razor, from the days of before hollow grind, its the heaviest I've seen at over 1/4 inch thick at the top of the blade.
