I don't know the maker
, but the curved "C" bolsters were used for removing 16 and 12 GA. cases from non-ejecting shotguns. I seem to remember a post on here, or another knife forum, from a while back that talked about Guarantee stamped knives. I can't remember for sure. You could do a search of these forums and possibly find it. Hope this helps.

Well, the name is Italian for "guaranteed". Aimus is correct about the shell pullers. Most everywhere in Europe, shotguns can not be repeaters. Side by side or over under is the order of the day.
The shell pullers are used to get a stuck case out the chamber because most break open shotgun extractors only pull the shell out about an eighth of inch. The extractors are rather weak by virtue of the way they have to made. So if a shell sticks, you can use your handy dandy knife with the cool tool and pop that puppy out in a jiffy so you can reload and dispatch the huge Russian boar you just pissed off by hittin him in the butt with a load of birdshot and is now trying to saw your leg off.
I've seen several German made knives in that configuration.
