3 bladed Winchester Sunfish ???

Post by deanmm56 »

Hello all,

here's the link :

http://cgi.ebay.com/Winchester-USA-270- ... 500wt_1182

Not good pictures but can anyone advise if Winchester ( Blue Grass Cutlery ) ever made a 3 bladed Sunfish ? I've never seen one, ever.

Thanks,

Dean

Looks more like a sleeveboard whittler.

The '03 on the tang after pattern # is for the year made (2003).

Just looked at Bluegrass Cutlery website and didn't see any 270 Cartridge Series knives with anything other than the Burnt Orange Bone scales. Is anyone out there an expert in this series?

I always thought that the tang stamps for Winchester knives were a little different than Case. 1st number should be the number of blades ? 2nd number the handle material ? Please correct me if I am wrong ...... I just can't figure out the series of numbers on Winchester. Any Winchester collectors out there that can help ?
