AAPK Pass Around Knife

Post by 4ever3 »

First off, thank you Bryan for doing a pass around with a knife like this and all of the work you do for all of us to enjoy! Now to the knife, pictures do not do this knife justice but I couldnt wait to start snapping away as soon as I got it. Mr. Patersons' work is beyond description, the realism of these horses is amazing! I wish more would have taken part in this pass around to see his work upclose and personal. Here are a couple pics of the knife, in the first pic I took a pic of the handle to try to show Mr. Patersons work better. While you look at the horses keep in mind they are around 1/2" tall. The horse on the far right (which happens to be my favorite) measures .475" tall. Thank you again Bryan, and awesome work Mr. Paterson ::nod::

You are so right about Colin's work, it is just awesome. I use a picture of my Bulldog Prototype Elephant Toe that Colin rehandled and scrimshawed as my avatar now. I had a really hard time deciding which side of the knife to use, so I will switch them back and forth. ::doh:: I will use the bull elephant side in a couple days. I put a few pictures of it in the customized factory knives forum. I have a very hard time putting it down once I pick it up.
I did not participate because I have one of his knives and so that more could see his work. Also, I must admit, it would be hard to send it on.

Kewl, Thanks for the close-ups. I am sure the photo's do not do it justice, sure would like to feel it.

I wished I could have got in on this 'Pass Around', maybe next. Had too many irons in the fire this part of the year.

::tu:: Maybe I will win it ::tu::
