My first Bear MGC

Post by johnnierotten »

Won this on ebay the other night.......I'm very happy with it,seems like a good quality knife.
Very sturdy but didn't come with a sheath. ::dang::

I have one of those and I was impressed as well with how sturdy it is. I bought it because I like the blade shape. I'm not as fond of the handle, too many square edges. Probably be fine once it gets a little wear on it.

Nice one there JR ::tu:: I am very impressed with the knives coming out of Alabama these days. ::nod:: I picked up this Mammoth Ivory scaled Keen Kutter swing guard that is made by Bear from one of our members a couple of months ago 8)

Mine came with what Bear advertises as "a quality leather sheath", pretty much a run of the mill machine cut and sewn item. Perfectly functional.

Nice one! I need to get some more bears. I've only picked up one, and that was a Christmas gift for my dad. (Still holding up great too!). Wish I took pictures of it first! It was a mini stockman in india stag.
