Re: CaseXX Boot knife
I have a Case Boot Hunter 1880's Style. It's in a box with a sheath and a sleeve garter. The tang reads, "P62-4 1/2 SS" on one side and "CASE XX SS USA" on the other side. The end of the box reads, "P62-41/2/SHEATH (396). W. R. CASE & SONS CUTLERY CO. BRADFORD, PA. 16701 USA." The corners of the box are bumped but the knife looks like it's near mint. It was Johnnie Fain's knife which I won on the AAPK auction. If you are interested contact me at [email protected].
