After a little thought:
If you do not reload, You could saw the end off of a a shotgun shell, fill it with Staglon and seal it back up with candle wax.
I sure that would do just as good.

Hi 9-ball. Yes it is true; no handguns allowed here. I keep a staglon handled knife in the bedside drawer and a silver bladed fruit knife under my pillow just in case the SandBar pay me a visit in the deep of night... or I need a late night snack. A mere glimpse of those old hallmarks is usually enough to send them fleeing. I can't be too careful these days. Apparently, my posting here have ruffled some feathers...I mean antlers

The life of a SandBar hunter is probably only for those who can shed the philosophy of the herd mentality, and have the tenacity of a mule, never overlooking the tineyest of points, sometimes straining the boundries of common scents, along the road to successfully racking up roe after roe of clues, leading to the does and don'ts of tracking this elusive, shape-shifting, extremely rare, one of one, iteration of the much better known Sambar deer.

My question is, do any of you actually belive JP could not spell. Dont get me wrong I believe the SS is attributable to JP.
Canal Street has denied making SS knives. How does Red Hill come off making a bundle from unsuspecting dingbats and keeping the myth alive?
I dont know about you folks but I really dont have anything better to do with my time.

It's likely the idiot on the phone at Red Hill that couldn't spell. IMO he probably has his name on his belt buckle so he wouldn't forget it. After I spoke with him, I got the impression that his elevator doesn't quite make it to the top floor.

I have found out, that, in addition to "Bubble & Squeak", that "Bangers & Mash", work equally well.
I went down to the 2nd level , just for a look. I knew that my Brothers and Sisters, disappeared one at a time, but I didn't know why. Now, it is all starting to make sense.
Keep up the good work. Everything you have sent me, makes sense.
I haven't figured out, yet, why they don't like, "toad-in-a-hole".

Been a while, good to hear from you. Whilst on a hot lead regarding the stag I ran across and secured ownership of a really nice Puukko, the sheath has Im pretty sure silver finishings. If you would like to look PM me or I will have it on foreign knives in a couple of weeks. Back on the trail of the lead again in the A.M.

You guys are gonna have to be even more surreptitious in your messaging. There has been severe shifting activity in the pipeline tween here and the deep south. The rumblings are really bad as though there is planned a second coming of the original nutted bar. We may have to git hold of Jimbos spirit kindred if any are remaining. Old JP really unlocked a Stag Bars box and its like its about to open up and spread the vermin world wide.

PM sent WB, just dying to see that Pukko, my ancestrial knife. BTW I had Caribou barbecued last night, great not gamey at all. Although being gamey is not a problem since I grew up eating venison that was shot in California's "A" zone (yep, hunting in 100+ degree weather). I guess they are both related to the Sandbar Stag, wonder what that one tastes like?

Were I to be guessing I would say the Stag would be tough, Have a taste not unlike soured pemmican. I believe Lewis and Clark said their men preferred a domesticated animal.

One never knows what to expect when grilling a SandBar Stag. I imagine the taste and texture vary greatly depending on the recent shapeshifting experiences and diets associated with the other recently assumed forms. A little known aspect of the top secret SandBar project was the inclusion of a tenderizing gene. The scientists incorporated this into the project in case the shape-shifting experiment flopped. At least they would have some tasty and tender meat to take home to their families.

I never had pemmican go sour, 3 kids + their friends around the house will do that.

I also used berries that were still a bit on the tart side and then put the meat/fruit mixture in a home made dryer. I never understood hunters that would mix pepper or teriyaki sauce with their jerky or pemmican, 1 bite and your canteen is empty, stuff like that makes you too thirsty (I called it cocktail jerky). After 3 years I bet Lewis and Clark's men wanted pork. Wild game has (had) a lack of fat, so with an extended stay in the wilderness, the body has a craving for fat. That's one reason why taking a bear or 2 at the end of the year was so important. I mention wild game had a lack of fat, I shot a couple of Blacktail bucks a few years ago that had an inch of fat on their buttocks. I knew there was a ranch nearby that about 80 acres planted and irragated clover. Man, those bucks were fat and TASTY! I heard the SS was a fatted beast.

I wonder with the recent archery hunting season if any of those sliver slingers caught a glimpse of or maybe bagged one of the shape shifting devils.Hmmm wonder if Scully is an archer. She would be a site to behold with a seventy lb. longbow drawn 28" with a 30" shaft in place.

, the ELK, related to the SS no doubt because of that non-typical rack. Dang WB, that sure brings back memories. Now that I can only get 24 abalone in a season, it's time to shake the rust off my trigger finger and add elk to the menu. No venison this year just salmon, abalone, and feral pigs. I haven't used my .300 mag in a while, just the .o6, .300 mag is just to big for the deer and pigs, just right for elk and SS, even at long range.
