THORNHILL knife, marked on the insides of both blades"THE BIRCHAM DAGGER SCISSORS" 7 1/4" overall, made in 1873 (kite reg mark), made by/for the high end London cutler W Thornihll and Co ( Their adverts stated "WALTER THORNHILL, having a factory in London and employing several particularly clever and ingenious workmen is enabled to undertake the manufacture of any peculiar or out of the way pattern knife that may be required")
