Welcome to the December 7, 2009 Johnnie Fain Estate book auctions. If all goes well there will be time to get the payments made and the books shipped to you before Christmas, for those of you who would like to give one of Johnnie’s books for a Christmas gift. This will be the last of the Johnnie Fain knife auctions for 2009. I am helping Johnnie’s widow Annettee by auctioning off many knives & books from Johnnie’s collection. AAPK members have been most generous in helping Annettee by bidding liberally in these auctions. Any member of AAPK can bid on these books.


This auction is for a copy of “The Collectors Guide to Switchblade Knives” by Richard Langston. Rich is a 50-year collector of Schrade knives and a world-renowned authority on Switchblade knives. The book includes pictures, values and descriptions over 160 knives from Rich’s personal collection. Rich is also a member of AAPK and uses the forum name of lt632ret.

The book is 209 pages long, and is paper bound.


This auction will end at 6 PM, Pacific Daylight Time, Sunday December 13, 2009 if there have been no bids within 2 hours of that time. If there have been bids, the auction will continue until such time as there are no bids for 2 consecutive hours.
At that time the high bidder will be declared the winner.
Payment is to be by money order. Upon receipt of payment the book will be shipped.

The payment price will be the winning bid plus $4.00 for shipping via Media Mail.
The book will be packaged to prevent damage.

Hi Phil,

How do you like Calipari so far? Looks like he's got the Cats playing pretty well. I haven't seen them play yet but undefeated is pretty good. My Jayhawks are also undefeated but sometimes they don't look that great.
