It's not only about local history, but the author is local and it was printed and bound locally. I collect books that check any one of those boxes, so this one is an absolute treasure. There's history and facts in this book that you won't find on the internet.

Just found out there was an off branch of the Pennsylvania Dutch Moravian group here in Wisconsin. They settled in Milwaukee then moved to Door County. Has me wanting to go there on an antique furniture hunt. Moravian woodworking is legendary.
