Re: Collections, Sub-Collections and Family Group Photos
This is the knife that really started my addiction to knives. The original Buckmaster 184. Bought this through smokey mountain knive works for $99 . I would have bought more but I was in high school and had save my lunch money to buy it. The other knife I got in Alaska at a Russian trade shop. Damascus mammoth skinner with iguana wrapped leather sheath. S. Nolte us the maker.

Traded off a couple of these recently, so I got a few together for a group shot before moving them on.

Re: Collections, Sub-Collections and Family Group Photos
Garry those are some fine looking knives you have.
I just picked up another Henckels by Boker stag handled knife. The full size stockman, not the 4 blade or the smaller stockman. Henckels used such high quality materials on their knives that Boker made for them. This collection of stag knives are some of the best in my collection. I think there is just a few more of these in stag to collect, a single blade barlow and a copperhead. Not sure if there are more or not.

Just picked up another Wendell Carson fiddleback whittler. This one has baleen handles, which looks a lot like buffalo horn but it comes from a whale. I don’t know how WC got the exotic handles that he used, but he made some of the best looking and unusual knives.
Took a few pictures of my other fiddleback whittlers and then got all the whittlers together for a group shot.
