William Cox (Mossdancer) - Gone But Never Forgotten

Mossdancer had a great “tongue-in-cheek” sense of humor, which came through perhaps best in his creative storytelling. Great example is the “sandbar” stag post referenced above - an AAPK classic! Any who haven’t read it, should.

Mossdancer, (WB), was a great storyteller and quite knowledgeable about Gerber knives. Somewhere in his wanderings he had become acquainted with Bob Valade, the gentleman who did the engraving on Gerber knives and the earlier engraved Al Mar knives.
My wife and I visited he and his wife several times and enjoyed the local seafood cuisine in Astoria, Oregon.
WB was a good friend and a Christian man. I miss calling him and discussing knives, the weather, old age or any other topic that happened to a catch our attention that day.
I miss you my friend.
